Hello. I am Elaine. Welcome to Carcassonne Bed and Breakfast du Palais!

I moved to France in 2024 and took ownership of the business in September of that year. At that time the Palais had been developed by the previous owners and had acquired an enviable reputation. I have worked hard to build, and indeed to enhance, its position as one of the leading establishments in the area. In fact, we have been chosen as the no.1 B&B in Carcassonne by Trip Advisor for 2025.

We constantly receive very high ratings across all platforms which is gratifying. But we are not complacent and are always looking at ways to enhance your stay. As soon as you check in we aim to give you the very best in terms of comfort and facilities. We provide a comprehensive welcome pack that details lots of information about Carcassonne and its environs. You are able to relax and enjoy your own space or take advantage of our beautiful pool and tranquil garden. And I am always around to offer any assistance I can during your stay. I now have an excellent working knowledge of Carcassonne and the surrounding area which I am happy to share with you.
